Well hopefully they get the conservative right wing out of power soon, they have a interesting tide turning there as there is down south.

The PAN conservatives have to go along with the regime to the north.
 
I hope they stop these acts against those workers from south when their election comes around. Otherwise what they want from USA is rather one sided argument.

I think the OP is just looking for anything to prove that all white americans are racist, to the point of hoping nobody would actually read the article.
 
The number of undocumented migrants detained in Mexico almost doubled from 138,061 in 2002 to 240,269 last year. Forty-two percent were Guatemalan, 33 percent Honduran and most of the rest Salvadoran.

Like the United States, Mexico is becoming reliant on immigrant labor. Last year, then-director of Mexico's immigration agency, Magdalena Carral, said an increasing number of Central Americans were staying in Mexico, rather than just passing through on their way to the U.S.

I'm not saying that there isn't racism in this country, there's racism in every country, moreso than in the U.S. I'm saying that this is a nation has learned from its wicked past and has moved on. for example, people who make racist comments, who have every right to do so, are quick to be publically condemned (take "chocolate city" nagin for example, or trent lott, though i think that was overkill).

yes there are probably some bad seeds in the border patrol, just like there are some rotten eggs in every group. but do not make the mistake of coloring the whole border patrol and U.S. policies as being racist. Its simply categorically untrue... By the way, did you know that we provide legal citizenship to more "dark skinned" people than any other nationality each year? some of you just don't want any borders and so you come up with ad hominem attacks against us, who want this to continue to be a country of legal immigrants...

Racism is never going to go away. The best way is to even the laws and let everything police itself...not have civil rights activists, hate crimes ("if you're gonna hurt someone, you DAMN well better make sure he's the same color as you!"), or anything like that.

I find it very odd that it's okay to make a joke about the British having terrible crooked teeth, but extremely offensive and racist to make a joke about a black person having rotten yellow teeth. Can anyone shed some light on this?

If leaving the country with more then $10,000 in cash it must be declared. If not then it is confiscated. This doesn't matter if you are a citizen or not, although I understand these days that illegal aliens have more rights than citizens.

It may be a lower sum if trying to cross the border illegally. This would tend to reduce the rewards for breaking the law.

If such abuses are going on they should be investigated. However, given that people are being instructed to lie about incidents in order to illicit sympathy I won't assume either side is telling the truth until more facts emerge.

Where's the OP? He's obviously a Mexican who think's all Mexicans are racist against brown skin and central americans. Oh where oh where is the OP to tell us about how much he's disgusted with the mexican government and police?
