Wow. After the first 20 minutes or so I wasn't expecting much. But it just kept going. It was (sickly) fascinating to watch Christian Bale's character devolve through the entire movie. It is an amazing study in self destructive behavior. Give it a shot. It reminded me a very tiny bit of Training Day... if only for the feel you get when it ends.

I watched it a while back but I wasn't a big fan of it. Felt forced, but that could've been because of Christian Bale. That's not to say he did a poor job, I think he did fine. It's that that it's Christian Bale... I don't know, just didn't jive with me.
