"Carney also said the White House is confident that "the overwhelming majority" of Senate Democrats will back the plan."

Which means he expects some Democrats to vote no. There are only 53 Democrats in the Senate which means 3 no votes and the bill doesn't get to 50.

I just listed three senators who seem to not like the bill. Based on that I wouldn't be surprised if the Obama presented bill ever get a vote or if they take it apart and change it before hand.

When unemployment is a over 9%??? LMAO I call that not having not having a clue on how to fix the problem .

This isnt rocket science. The house republicans dont believe such a bill will actually create jobs. Thus they dont create a bill.

So you are blaming the party that controls one third of government for unemployment while making excuses for the party that controls the other two thirds?

I cant tell if you are intentionally obtuse or really this clueless. Did this jobs bill magically appear out of thin air? And the president gets a vote. He can veto the bill or sign it.

Actually he gets the biggest vote of all with the ability to veto a bill.

No bill can get passed without his approval or a two thirds majority to over ride his veto.

And my point, which I am sure you got, is that there are there elected bodies in our government and two are controlled by Democrats and one by Republicans and yet you want to blame the minority party for our problems?

Maybe you should get the Senate to pass a bill BEFORE you complain about the house...

We already discussed the republicans dont feel the govt can provide jobs in any meaningful way, thus no jobs bill from the house. And what are you talking about? Republicans in the senate want to vote on Obama's bill but Reid is blocking it. Why does Reid hate America?
