Where does it tell us that Durmstrang and Beauxbatons are single sex educational institutions? This is clear in the movie, but I can?t remember exactly where that is said in the book.

true. it doesn't mention it in the book, but it's quite clear that since France is such a sissie country, only girls would have a chance. anyway, since, according to wikipedia, Durmstrang is in Russia, i imagine that supposedly in the book, Russia is still in the period where there is male superiority.
 
It doesn't mention it, except that all the characters from Durmstrang are male and all the characters from Beauxbatons are female - so its simply obvious. Didn't need to be specifically mentioned

I always figured it was Balkan since Krum is Bulgarian. Russia's close enough though.

Only two of them are Veela, IIRC; Fleur Delacour and her sister. The book is more specific on it, they're irresistable creatures.

I bought the 2-disc set because it was a whopping $2 more than the regular version. Big fvcking deal, quit whining.

It's about $5 most places. I don't think it's worth it.

pft its not worth a extra $1 when it as been added for free to every other movie. not to mention nearly every B&M store had it $5 more.

🙁 i saw it was on sale at best buy, and got all excited, until i noticed it was for the movie only.

i bought the two disc version at costco for 20.99.
