Harry Potter fans...

I guess the whole family would have to be counted

53, 45, 20, 9

We are doing a family read of the new book, the 9yr old is cheating, reading ahead of the rest of us!

Watch out for Millenium or MichaelD's thread crapping. They might prove their maturity by putting you down by calling you a stupid adult or a 12-year-old kiddy.

I'm not really a fan. I've only seen the movies and haven't touch any of the books. Going to read 1-5 for light entertainment.

at ~800 pages per book, reading 4000 pages is light entertainment?

curious what you read when you really want to have some fun.

The prints in those books aren't that small. Rather large actually. It's more like 500 pages in small print 🙂

I wish I could have been around when those stores were screwing up and putting them out early. Buy a copy, grab a scanner and some OCR software, and presto - Harry Potter, meet Teh IntArweb.

They are indeed light reading. We will have completed reading OoP out loud, long before I complete EGB which is of similar length, but smaller text and much deeper in content.

My cousin is 13 or is it 14... she finished it last night

she started reading it at 1am when she got it... what a nutcase.

34 and my bro is 24.

Me <-- waiting for my bro to buy the new one first, just like all the other books. 🙂
