George Washington is on both the quarter and the dollar. Retire him from the dollar, and replace with a nice symbol of our nation. Get rid of Jackson, who was horrible on human rights, and - if you're going to time it for the bicentennial of women getting the right to vote - then use someone who had something to do with women getting the right to vote. (Duh.) Susan B Anthony or someone along those lines.

No.

and Obama. Don't forget Obama. He's somehow involved in this.

Well, if in fact any kind of change would be made to the currency it would have to happen at his direction, so yes, if they make it change he would be one of those to blame.

Because in PokerGuy's mind, putting anyone on our currency that isn't white male requires "blame".

When I first read this story I was actually excited to see what the misogynists on ATOT were going to do with it.

In the mind of an idiot, anyone who doesn't see a reason why we have to change who is on a bill must be opposed to it because of race or gender. It's the only explanation, obviously :whiste:. Are you also one of those idiots that thinks the only possible reason anyone could oppose any of obummer's policies is because of his race?

Yep, agree. There's no reason to change who is on that bill except to make some group of SJW's happy.

Oh, there's a good reason to do things, to try and make some group you don't like mad! Yay for 'logic'. Idiot.

So its bad if it might make someone happy and its bad because it might make someone mad. When the frack would we change anything in your world?

We should bump Jackson down to the five dollar bill. We should do this for reasons.

We should replace Grant on the $50's with William T Sherman, just to give the south a good reminder.

Man, they hate that guy!

You might as well put Napoleon on the 5 Euro note.

(as you probably know, this is why Euro notes, which are the same for all Eurozone countries, only have architecture/art/symbols--One nation's icon more than likely is hated by surrounding nations, lol)

Lol, you wouldn't find a $50 bill South of the Mason Dixon line.

Well if we made preparations we could legally turn the South into slave labor via incarceration for destruction of legal currency and actually get another prosperous American Century for the rest of us.

I always like the idea of putting an astronaut or some other symbol of the American Space program on a bill. IMO, that's probably our greatest accomplishment as a nation (or close to it). It doesn't even have to be a specific astronaut, just the suit or a rocket. I think Canada might have a bill like this already, which is a great idea that we can adapt to fit in with our currency.

Very simple. You don't change things to make one fringe group or another happy, and you don't change things to tick off one group or another. You change something when it makes logical sense to do so.
