Harmonicas?

i was wondering if anyone knows about harmonicas. I am considering buying one, and i was wondering which brands are good. I found a harmonica for $5(the brand is Jambone).. i was just wondering because i think harmonicas are cool..i really wanna play the harmonica solo in the song "times of trouble" by temple of the dog... also, what key should it be in?

I don't remember any TotD except for "I'm goin HUNGREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" so I couldn't tell you the key. But unless you're going to be playing with someone else the key should really be irrelevant.
That $5 harp is probably pretty weak, leaky and hard to bend. I use a Hohner Blues band that I got for $20. It's not THAT great, but I can bend it, and it has a good sound. The Hohner Marine Band ain't great but it's cheap and a place to start.
I've heard that Lee Oskar harmonicas are very good and cheap, but I've never found any.

I would also recommend Hohner. I used both Marine Band and Blues and they used to take a lot of abuse.
