Starting Dec. 26th, Frys has the Harmon Kardon AVR 1700 500W 5.1 Channel 3D Receiver for a low $199. Bestbuy had this for $199 on Cyber Monday as well. The receiver normally sells for $500-600 so...

Its not the best receiver in the world, Harmon Kardons are known for having sparse features and such, but excel in the sound quality department. Might be worth it for some. I may buy one myself.

The 1700 is pretty basic, not many features. The 2650 is pretty feature packed. That is if you can afford an additional $100 for a AVR.
