My local Costco had the Soundsticks on clearance for $59.97. It should be national.

The lowest I have seen these for were $111.00 + shipping and Compusa still sells these for $169.99.

These look slick, especially if you have an Apple computer. They don't sound too bad with their sub either :)

They work on PC's as well but they are USB. Windows 2000 and XP both pop up as Soundsticks when plugged in. I used them for 2-3 years on my PC before upgrading to Z-5500's. They do not use your sound card outputs so they are only really a good deal for PC's with low-end soundcards/onboard sound.

These are the SoundStick II's, they have a 3.5mm cable instead.

These don't use USB for the PC, I have them plugged into the audio out on my Creative sound card.

I have never even seen a USB speaker set.

Thats good to hear they changed them. Like I said, the ones I had were a few years old and didnt use your soundcard at all. They sounded pretty good but were a waste if you had a nice PCI soundcard as the card had no control over them. The left and right speaker plugged into the sub and the USB cable was hardwired to the sub. There were no other jacks on the sub other than for the power brick.
