$52.99 from directron, sale price isn't that great. No headphone jack either, guess the deal is ok if you're willing to wait for the rebate.

This speaker seemed ideal for what I was looking for until I noticed that the volume control is on the subwoofer. What was HK thinking? Its designed for people that want a clear desktop, apparently, bu you are going to have to put the subwoofer within easy reach, which is not possible in most office situations.

I've seen similar speakers being sold with Mac systems (with 4 drivers instead of two). Not bad for their size, but I'd hardly consider them as "for the serious music lover" as the copy states.

looks good but sounds like cr@p speakers:) but for 30 dollars, it probably sounds ok.

The volume is not on the sub. I have these at home. The volume is on top of one of the satellites and they are INCREDIBLE speakers. worth every penny. only SUB level is located on the sub.
