I recently put together a new rig and ever sicne I got it up I have issues with using hardware acceleration for video. When I have it enabled most videos have very weird colors. It is like a negative but with more of a rainbow twist to it.

I did some research and found out how to disable hardware acceleration and that did fix it. The problem is that I can nolong play videos in full sreen because whatever player I use it defaults back to smallers than full screen. Plus a lot of videos I view on the web that have the players embeded into the page do not show the videos but play the aduio and when I turn hardware acceleration back on the weird colored video comes back.

I have unistalled the video drivers and the reinstalled them and nothing changed.

Does anybody know how to fix this? Because watching videos on the web is something I do a lot.

EDIT: I forgot to add that I am using the Catalyst 6.8 drivers.

There is a similar issue I am aware of with WMP9, if that is the player you are using updating to WMP10 should solve it for you.

I had the same problem a while ago. I upgraded to WMP 10 and everything was fine.
