Hardware question about TV on PC...

I have a system setup for my kids. It the playroom they have their own computer, playstation, vcr, satellite receiver and Hitachi TV. My problem is that the TV is only 13" and the computer monitor is 19" therefore I wouldlike to get rid of the tv and use the monitor for the computer as the sole display. It seems this would be much nicer, bigger and less cluttered. What are my options with cards or adapters? I don't need to do video editing. Just want to be able to watch tv, vcr, satellite on my computer monitor.
Thanks in advance,
Philip

Just get a good TV-tuner card like the ATI TV-Wonder and you shouldn't have any problem at all. Just route everything you want to watch through the card using S-video or RCA and voila, it's done.

You could do that or upgrade to a video card that will do video in/out(VIVO) such as the Radeon 64 VIVO. Then you can watch the dvds, satellite, vcr, psx, or whatever on your 19" monitor thru the video in.
