I am building my system right now and I am on a tight budget, here is the question and the final choice I have to make, please offer any input...

A
Athlon 2100
Geforce4 4400
80gb HD
32x12x40x CDRW

B
Athlon 2000
Geforce4 4600
60gb HD
16x12x40 CDRW

Well, it's really a matter of choice weather you want a 80 Gig HD and 32x12x CDRW. I will comment that there is next to no difference between the XP 2100 an 2000. And while there is definately a difference between the Ti 4400 and Ti4600, it's not going to be huge, and in all likely hood, you could oc the Ti4400 to Ti4600 speeds. So, if I were picking, I'd take the A.

I would actually do neither of you choices. I would do this...

Athlon 2000 - There is no difference with a 2100
Geforece4 4600 - Will be slightly better than 4400
80gb HD - Hey, why not
16x CDRW - When are you going to need to burn in 3 min instead of 5 min
