"Windows 2000 could not start because of a computer disk hardware problem.
Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware.
Please check the windows 2000(TM) documentation about hardware disk configuration
and reference manual for additional information."
This is one of the errors I've gotten (of late, about 8 hrs) besides the "NTLDR is missing" message.
Now after I got this one for the first time I formated the drive using the win2k Recover, restarted
and ran the installation without a hitch. after about an hour or 2 of installing drivers and software
I decided to try connecting my CDRW which was giving me problems (system wouldn't post when it
was connected) anyhow it still wouldn't post so I switch the connector between the master and the slave (cdrw)
and now it was booting up but not it to windows. I recieved that great message : "NTLDR is missing"
Now I'm back to the message at the begining of this post.
If anyone has any info on what to do or why it might be doing this, please let me know! Thanks.
