Hardware monitor that runs as a service?

Anyone know of a hardware monitoring program that will run as a service under Win 2k? Like Motherboard Monitor but can shut down the PC if a fan fails or something even with no user logged in?

I think Coolinfo (Coolmon) can do that. And even if it can't, it is a great little program. There is a thread at Ars' forums about this program where you could ask questions.
