Hardware goofing up and disaster thread

You know, there used to be lots of threads of people making unreal mistakes and eletrocuting their cats (by mistake of course)
... Or.. scratching motherboard, chipping CPUs, blowing up PSU, melting the wires...and so on.
I didn't know I can blow up a pc speaker by plugging it on CPU fan header until I read one of the story 😉 or blow up a PSU by mising one pin in the floppy drive.. They are invaluable resources to the amature hobby builders like me.. 🙂

So let's hear it. No need to be shy. 😛
