Here's my problem. I was over at a friend?s house last night who seams to always have the latest and greatest of everything. We were playing Half Life 2 which brought the dormant gamer in me back from years ago. Will my system which is more then 2 1/2 years old be able to play this game at respectable levels?

P4 2.6 overclock to 2.8
512MB of RDRAM
ATI 9700pro Video card

The rest of the specs probably don't matter.

Thanks
Scott

that would be fine, but 512mb is a tad low... the new gen games (halflife2) reeeeeeally prefer 1gb, with 512mb i was stuttering a lot.... its RDram though, so i know its not exactly easy to upgrade.. but ebay has rdram.

Yeah you might not get very high levels of AA or AF but it should run pretty nicely.
