Maybe you should return the computer. Glueing everything together like that is unheard of and seriously weird. Is it worth all your time to dick around with this? There are lots of companies that sell normal computers.

Otherwise, there's nothing to do but use pliers.

OH you have got to be kidding. Someone on another forum say retailers glue in parts to keep them from coming apart during shipping. there is no way to get glue out of there without seriously damaging the parts with pliers? No solvent, heat, anything? This hurts. This hurts real bad. So then call the company and complain? I hope someone has an answer other than that, I am sure they will tell me to jump off a bridge. arrrgh.

Start jumping. It's easier if you just fall backwards off the bridge :p. If you can't get the stuff unstuck without risking some serious damage, then call them and complain.

Please share the name of the reseller or company that glues their components into the computer. It would be good to know which company to avoid.

Agreed. I have never heard of retailers gluing anything in a computer together, besides maybe a heatsink to a chip.
