I am aware that the HD 2900XT does not have full HW acceleration, but I believe that some features such as noise reduction is available even on this card, and I am assuming HW Acceleration must be activated for noise reduction to be used. I am certainly seeing quite a bit of noise in many different HD DVD titles.
I can check the box for HW Acceleration in the settings, but if I play a HD DVD the checkbox is greyed out and unchecked.
Is this a know bug? I've been unable to find any info on it. I am using the latest catalyst drivers (7.9) and the latest version of PowerDVD Ultra (7.3 build 3104a.1).
