Must be a DNS mixup (thats what some one said when I could get to tweak3d. It worked the couple of hours after).

Worked for me a half hour ago. They have been doing some server work lately, maybe they need to adjust some settings.

never used the internet options content settings but made sure its turned off anyhow. any other suggestions?

Did you add any hardware in your system of late? I switched sound cards in my old system, and the SB Dos emulation didn't get fully installed. When I tried to go to certain sites, it would give me a DNS error. I checked device manager, resolved the conflict (with my nic), and it worked beautifully.

took out the pos cable modem and put in the dsl, but it been working with dsl for months even after the recent reinstal of the dsl, but i also tried to use dialup and that didnt work ether
