Clearly the egg, fish/insects/etc. were laying eggs long before chickens came around.
Chicken vs. Chicken Egg is harder... but Chicken Egg came first too I think.
If you assume "chicken egg" to be an egg that hatches a chicken...
At some point there was a point where whatever sort of bird it was could be defined as a "chicken". There was a first "chicken"... due to mutation of whatever defined its "chickenness". This first "chicken" was in an egg that was layed by the ancestral chicken predecessor.
If you assume "chicken egg" to be an egg layed by a chicken... (which I don't think makes as much sense as the first definition)
The first chicken was hatched from the ancestral chicken predecessor. The first egg it lays is the first "chicken egg", so the chicken came first.

This is exactly my opinion.

Nonsense question. Pi is an irrational number and has no last digit...
Wait...has that been proven? I think whether or not irrational numbers go on forever is one of the "hard" questions of math, but I think it's pretty well speculated if not proven...
Math major want to help me out?

So it is indeed a hard question to answer? =D
