Well, I'm taking Etymology as a Sophomore in HS and it sucks a$$... every day we get 100-150 words and definitions to memorize and 1 - 20 roots to memorize as well. We are currently studying the Latin part so everything isn't literal with the roots so we have to memorize everything. I should have never taken Summer School... atleast it'll be over in 2 weeks! I don't even think I'll have time to enjoy my new computer thats coming in Thursday or Friday with my brother's B-day party on Sunday, and Saturday for studying for Etymology. I hate having chosen to take the class... but my goal is to finish off enough classes so that during Senior year, I can leave after 3rd period every day instead of 4th. (BTW, we have block scheduling, so 4 classes a day, I don't know how its done at other places)

I think it'll pay off senior year, won't it?

Highschool P.E. was the hardest, most demanding, class i have evar taken in my life. It was even worse than middle school P.E.! I'm 4'2" and 290 pounds and I came out of the closet during Highschool PE.

Uh OK? And what does coming out of the closet have to do with your most hardest class?

Propulsion (mostly jet turbine and rocket propulsion)

The book was 'Aerothermodynamics of Gas Turbine and Rocket Propulsion'

Sounds fun doesn't it.

Operating Systems - we had to write our own multi-tasking operating system. That class was pure hell.

AP US History.
We were on a block schedule and so it was 90 minutes every two days. Just about every class we got a new packet that we had to read and do vocabulary identification and answer 4-5 open-ended questions. I often didn't do it because it was so intimidating, but 45 different assignments for that class have collected on my computer.

Yeah, my roommate had to take that last year. He was staying up all night programming shells, memory stuff and a filing system.

The hardest I've taken so far is English 167, not because the reading was tough, but having to BS my way through pages of essays about books I didn't give a rat's ass about. Oh boy! It's a good thing I read about Jane Eyre so I can get that job at Intel!
