Harddrive speed-testing app?

Is there anything out there to test hard drive speeds? I want to make sure my new SATA 300 is actually moving at 300 instead of 150. (I heard you can screw this up with incorrect jumper placement?)

dude it won't matter, the fastest sata drives (wd raptor) are sata 150 and they don't even use all the bandwidth; so even though your interface would be faster it wouldn't really make a real-world difference.

Indeed, my new WD SATA 250GB drive bursts at 210 on that test.
