I heard mentioned in a thread that winxp fat32 formatting has a limit of 32gb's...is that right???

Also I thought since xp is the successor to win2k that it would format disk to a NTFS standard...Is this right???

there is an issue with fat32 and 32gb .. but doesnt always happen, but it doesnt matter for you because yes it will format it as ntfs ..

ntfs is an option. u can still use fat32. i did fat32 just coz scandisk or checkdisk is alot faster than with NTFS. even though i have mulitple users, its not like i have real private files on my pc thats worth encrypting from others.
