Harddrive not detecting

TYAN S2875ANRF Dual Socket 940 AMD 8151 ATX Server Motherboard - Retail

im running dual opertons right now, i just installed everything i put a SATA hd on when i install windows it says no mass storage device was detected. how can i make it work? ive never had this problem before

You will have to create the raid/sata driver disk(Or seeing as that one ships with them) and when it boots up and asks hit f6 to add scsi controller, put the floppy in and and the additional controller. if not in raid mode use the IDE driver disk
