recently i purchased an additional harddrive and after installing it, it works fine but there's something wrong with window display of the drive. my older drive is named C while the new one is F. my dvd and cdrw drive are named D and E respectively. why is that? anyway to change this?? both harddrive are connected on one ide slot.

What OS are you using? For Win98 you should be able to view your optical drives in Device Manager and adjust the settings for the drive letter there (select Properties, Click Settings Tab and then Start Drive Letter (E) End Drive Letter (E) for the first optical etc) THen reboot. Should appear correctly then. Even though your new hard drive is called F it shouldn't affect the way it works.
