Harddrive in the fridge?

I saw some posts about crashed harddrives working again after putting them in the fridge, so I figured I'll try that with my old crashed drive :)
How long should it be in the fridge? I just put mine in (almost 9pm here) and I thought I'll leave it until I get home from work tomorrow (at 7-8pm maybe). Is that too long or will it be fine in there?

wel, I read that other thread about the topic....I'm amazed! but there's still one thing I'm skeptical about: were all the people with messed up drives in the other thread just talking about some sort of miscalibration of the head driver, or were they actually talking about a head crash? I don't believe how the freezer trick could possibly work if the head has crashed. (ie due to some large shock force, the head has come in physical contact with the surface of the platter while it's spinning)

Yeah I will! It's been in the freezer since last night, I'm gonna try it when I get home :)
