I say if the old guys want one last jump let them. They put their lives on the line 60 years ago, i think we can honor them in letting them relive their victory. The deserve it.

In 1995, he was one of six WWII paratroopers who went to Russia for an airborne tribute. His jump was canceled after the man who jumped before him was killed when his parachute failed to open.

In 2000, while performing a tribute near Fort Bragg, North Carolina, another member of Greenberg's group was killed when his parachute did not open properly.

sounds like crappy luck. it would not be fun to die because a parachute didnt open up. it would be worse if it was a commerative jump.

if he wants to jump..he can jump. just cant sue the government if he gets hurt.

Let the old fsck jump. If he lives, fine and if he dies that's fine as well. He knows the dangers and consequences of jumping out of perfectly good airplanes.
