Hello everyone I am having some difficulty deciding what to do for my upcoming new system purchase. I want a highly overclockable board and it needs to be damn fast.

Please help me with this. I have three areas of indecision.

I have narrowed my choices down to this:

Mobo
ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe
DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-DR Expert
What's the better board for overclocking and would it be foolish to not go with the ASUS for it's true 16x lanes?

Ram
Corsair XMS LL PC3200,3500,higher?
What's the best spec for overclocking?

GFX Card
7800 GTX
Now if I intend to overclock the hell ouit of my system would it be better to go with a card that is at spec like the ASUS or one that that is already overclocked like the BFG. If I get the BFG and overclock my system will the BFG tell me hell no because it's already maxxed out?

please advise.

I believe DFI mobos are the current top OC'ers. There's a good mobo selection guide in the Motherboards forum, check that out.

It makes sense that PC3500 RAM would run lower latencies at 3200, or that it would OC better up to 3500 speeds (and above). However, the XMS series are excellent as it is, and the extra cost is probably not worth the few MHz bonus.

go wit dfi for sure i got 1 and love it. As for ram get some mushkin redline or mushking black lvl 2 or ocz gold vx those are the best and hit 250+ at 2-2-2-5 timings
