I feel I have a problem...
I'm a grown man, who works at an ITS, and I never got rid of my lust for games! I mean seriously I remember back nearly 10 years ago while i was in college I used to wake up on the weekends at 6 am and play doom until 8 pm. I mean my eyes were red and I had a mad headache (probably from the pixelation), and then do it all over again the next week. Sometimes I'd have a paper due the next day and I'd say to myself, " I can stick in a hour of relaxation gaming," then it turned into two.
Now I work for a private firm, and I'm still the same! The only difference is the money to build new comps., a job, a wife, and coke bottle glasses (Thank good for contacts!). I mean I still find cool games to play and I'll go for hours on end sometimes 4 hours at a time, many times during the day! I know I should get a life, but with games like civilization 3 (oh man the original civ was cool with the square cities!), sims, counterstrike, etc. I can't stop myself from playing! I seriously can't, I should probably spend that time with my wife, but when we are fighting or the world's got me down
, I go to the one thing that loves me and will never turn on me: my computer.
am I a hopeless computer nerd?
am I fallout from society?
What is my problem?
Is there anyone else out there like me? BUMP if so.
should I just shoot myself in the head now?
