Hardcano 12 to replace Hardcano 9

I have a ThermalTake V5000A Damier Case, and the Hardcano 9 is not very attractive for my tastes. So I've been looking at the Hardcano 12 to put in that top 5.25'' slot but the door will not close (the inner plastic door).

I'm not sure what to do... unless I'm going to drill holes? Any suggestions? The case is screwless so I can't just slide the Hardcano 12 in there.
 
theres a plastic inner door on the Thermaltake V5000A case.

The Hardcano 9 has rounded so it closes, the hardcano 12 has sharp edges and it obstructs the closing of the door
