Hard work DOES pay off

Right now I work for Company A that is outsourced to handle all of Company B 's IT needs. Well after having been with Company A for a little over a year and finding out that my raise has been delayed yet again I get really mad. Today I get a call from Company C 's IT manager that is a close friend of one of my clients at Company B. Long story short because of my hard work for the customer at Company B I was offered the job at Company C after meeting with them for Lunch. So long Company A and Hello Company C. BTW I got a $17,000 a year raise to go to Company C which has better benefits and a better work enviroment. Moral = keep your head up and do the best job you can because you never know who is really paying attention.

Yeah we did the numbers thing at lunch and he asked me what it would take for me to come work for him. I gave him the $$$ amount and had the offer letter emailed and faxed to me within the hour. WooHooooooooo
