I am currently heavily leaning towards the Samsung 970p 19'' ( Gaming only real concern, I dont do any heavy photo/image editing )
Really, the only other option I am considering right now is going with a 20'' NON WIDESCREEN instead.
I do not want widescreen for my computer. If I want wide screen ill watch my TV, just NOT a fan of widescreen at all when it comes to PCs, just my opinion here.
The thing that makes the decision hard is, I would love to have 1600x1200 res, but I am worried about the horsepower it will take to run Games on this. My new comp that should arrive shortly in brief:
AMD x2 4400
2 gig ram
7800gt
So, it could probably handle MOST games at 1600x1200, but some like FEAR at high settings would be a problem.
And thats not even counting games that will hit the shelf later this year.
I dont have the money to afford the BEST Graphics card much less in SLI, so this is my rig and I wont upgrade vcard for a year.
So... my question to you guys really is going with a 20'' too much of a risk/money sink for games to run on it? Should I just go with the Samsung 970p? ( I cant see being upset with this monitor ).
