Hard lumps under skin

Hi,

Recently I noticed these hard lumps underneath the skin of my right and left arms. There is one on the inside of my upper right arm, and one on the outside of my upper left arm. They're difficult to describe, but they are hard (harder than muscle but softer than bone), and about the size of a pencil-tip eraser. Oh, there is also one on the left side of my abdomen just below the rib cage.

Any ideas besides alien implants? Should I see a doctor?

Thanks.

EDIT: You can't tell that the lumps are there unless you feel for them. Meaning you can't see a visible lump, there is no discoloration, etc. etc.

Yes, see a doctor!

I would be especially worried about the lump on your upper right arm. One tip I got from a doctor long ago was that if the lump moved, then it was probably benign; but if it was hard and didn't move, then it was something to be concerned about. Hopefully I heard him well. Regardless, I would seek a doctor's evaluation.

Hmm.. yeah I guess I'll see a doctor. Oh I probably should have mentioned that the lumps are not visible - I can only tell that they are there if I feel for them. Otherwise there is no evidence of them.. no discoloration, no (visible) lump, etc.

I'd get it checked out. They could be calcium deposits, but I'd hate for you to take my word for it and die before your 300th post.

Probably lipomas, very common to get those on arms and torso. Or maybe a cyst. Likely not a big deal, either way.

Get it looked at.

I know somebody who has the same thing that you describe.

She has 3 of them around her head. They are under the skin. And one in her arm. They just appeared about a year ago. We have no idea what they are.

What you describe sounds identical to what she has.

Don't you get lipomas only if you're fat? 😕 And if you have it, isn't it external and visible? Do the lumps usually grow big? Could they become a problem healthwise? Please if you do know answers to any of these questios, do answer. Thanks!

Don't you get lipomas only if you're fat? nope...don't have to be fat to get them...

And if you have it, isn't it external and visible? doesn't have to be visible, but can be if it's big enough.

Do the lumps usually grow big? they can grow very big...size ranges

Could they become a problem healthwise? they're benign for the most part, but they need to be seen by a doctor to make sure it's not affecting you...

i got two on my back on either side of my back.. i keep forgetting to show it to the doctor.

I guess I need to show it. I keep forgetting. My massage guy said its unusual and i still forgot.
