hello everyone lets see if i can get some help on this great forum

here goes, whenever i try to play and 3dfx games after a minute or so my system hard locks i mean no CTRL+ALT+DEL the monitor shuts down and the HDD light looks like its doing something but what god only knows - also the RESET switch will no respond the only way out is to power off for a few seconds and back on again......

I have installed the VIA agp drivers
updated my BIOS to the newest one...
MB = MSI 6330 PRO me thinks
And running XP 2505 RC1

everything else is in my rig link this also happened on WIN2000 SP2
I have tryed everything i know turned down the hardware acceloration and the temps are fine -------- so please help me cure this annoing problem and let me get back to UT and play lol

Perhaps one of those sticks of ram isn't getting along with the others. looks like you have 3, try them one at a time. What video drivers are you using? Is your vid card overheating? Promise controller? Nic card? Try moving your video card in the slots, perhaps pull that nic and see if it still happens.
 
OK how would i find out if my vid card is overheating ? - another thing is that i am positive this problem was not apparent when i had my QDI motherboard so it makes me think that the problem is the MSI motherboard?

All the kit inside is the same as when i had the QDI
 
while i think about it this problem happens when i try to make a vcd disk with nero something weird is going on here ??
