Hard Drives for Video Editting

Should I get a SAS card with a 3 146 GB RAID 5 SCSI drives, Or 3 150GB Raptor X Drives in a RAID 5. I really want to go with the raptor option because it will be 3 times less expensive. This set of drives will be my data drive for video editting.

I will have a Canopus ACDV 300 card with an E6700 and 4GB of Corsair twinX PC8000 Ram.

Any suggestions appreiciated,

JOe K.
