Hard drives causing disturbances?

It is really annoying.

Everytime I play a game now when the hard drives are going it disupts my sound card and it starts making popping noises. when the drives are not accessing the sound is fine.

Recording TV shows same proplem the video input goes all nuts when the drives are accessing.

How do I fix this?

no, for those that don't know if you run your Hard drives on sata and on the southbridge it has nothing to do with a locked pci bus. The promise controller is on the pci bus but the southbridge has more bandwidth. The southbridge runs in sync with the fsb so there is no way to lock it. If you were to lock it then there wouldn't be a reason to overclock it.

This motherboard does have a locked pci/agp bus however that is only for the controller (promise) that is on it. Not the one on the southbridge.
