does it really matter if i get a mb that has 3gb/s over 1.5 gb/s
and if so what would the differnce be

No it doesn't matter
None really

The bigger the drive is the faster it will work, some brands are faster than others, some are quieter than others. For more information use the search as we've done it a thousand times.

Looks good, I should be getting that drive from Fedex today. If you can afford to wait about a month on the CPU and Mobo things should get cheaper from both AMD and Intel.
