I currently have a 120 filling up. Can i add another internal HD w/o having to format my old one?

Yes. No problem at all.

Just plug it in and you computer will recognize it as a new drive... the only problem you may run into is that you may not have an extra IDE or SATA plug for it... if that is the case you might want to go for an external hard drive
