Hard drive woes

Had a guy call me up to help him with his hard drive. He told me that he had shut down his computer and when he went to restart it went past the bios and hanged. He tried using the Win98 setup disk to try to fix it and it wouldn't go. I told him I would take a look at it. I met him at work and he had the hard drive with him. He proceeded to tell me how he might have fixed it already. He had peeled the label back and seen the arm there. He then tried pulling on it and it wouldn't move. So then he pried on it til it did move.


ARG!!! At least he was going ahead tonight and get a new one.
