Hard drive too big for my mobo???

I bought a 250GB seagate sata drive, I have a chaintech MK8T890 socket 754 mobo, and my computer says it only has about 130Gb of space. I have windows xp with sp2. Any suggestions or will I be returning this hd?

control panel/admin tools/comp management. there, you should be able to partition and format the rest of the drive.

You should be able to handle a drive that size in one partition as long as LBA is enabled and you format it right in diskmgmt.msc
