alright.. post the OS that you're using, and tell me how much hard drive space is on that partition (if that doesn't include all the programs for that OS, please post the space that they take up on the seperate partition as well).
I'm using too much space on my HD, though I'm not the only user (grr, that totally bites, I wish I didn't have to waste HD space!)..
I have Windows 98 taking up 5.48 gigs.. the initial install was about 200 megs or so. I can fit that, plus all of the essential programs (Powerarchiver, netscape OR Mozilla, Winamp, drivers and their programs, and DX8, as well as Media player 6.4) onto 1 CD without compression (using Ghost).
I also have linux Mandrake 8, but I can't remember how much space it uses..
