hard drive space for windows 10

A friend has a laptop running windows 8 with 20 GB of free hard drive space. Is this enough to install windows 10 and how much hard drive space will be left after windows 10 installs?

You need 20 for a X64 install 16 for X32, and even the I don't know if it would have much left over if you dumped the other to have much left.
