hard drive size

okay, i may be OT but here goes.

haven't done this in a while. what is the largest partition a mb using intel 865pe chipset can support under winxp?

would there be a difference in that max size if using serial vs. ata

really, so is it software limited not hardware limited? if i have win xp with service pack 2 on my epox 8kha+ system i can use any size partition even greater than 120gb?

Its still in Beta, so use at your own risk.


No SP1 = 120gig max, after SP1 = skys the limit for the most part

No, you don't need any extra hardware; before sp1, I think you needed to, but I'm not sure. Back when I didn't have sp1, I could only get 127 gigs out of my harddrive.
