Hard drive shows up in device manager, but not my computer

I bought an hp m7680n today. Box says it's supposed to have 2 x 250gb sata drives. I booted up and clicked my computer, and only one hard drive is listed @ 224gb, plus 2 partitions @ 8gb each. the 224gb partition is NTFS, the two other partitions are fat32. both of the smaller partitions are for recovery.

When I click the device manager, both drives show up with their respective model numbers.

Anything I can do to get the phantom drive to show up in my computer?

Go into Control Panel, open up Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Disk Manager, and see if it is listed there. If so, you'll need to create a partition, format, and assign a drive letter.

Meaning you have to initialize the hdd.
