Hard Drive Setup?

I am wondering what the best way to do this is:

I have two hard drives, a 40gb ATA100 and a 20GB ATA66

4 IDE ports on my motherboard, 2 ATA100, 2 ATA66

Windows XP Pro

And Redhat 7.2

What I want to do is have Windows on the 40GB and Linux on the 20GB, so i can choose what OS I want to start when I turn on my computer.

How do I go about doing this? Are they both set as master? Should they be on different, or the same channel? Will I have to do anything different during the install process of the OS's?

It doesnt matter how they are setup, but you want to install Windows on the hard drive that is set as primary master. Then install whatever version of Linux you plan on using and a boot loader should be setup. The boot loader lets you decide whether you want to boot into windows or into linux.

Plug both HD's into the ATA100 Slots (2 different slots)
Set them both to master
nothing different will really have to be done, you select the drive you want to install the OS on and let it do its thing
