Hard Drive Question

Alright, currently in my system i have some sort of 7200 rpm, 40 gig hard drive, i don't really ever use all the space in it, if i were to get a Raptor hard drive for the new computer i am building, would the gaming performance be a lot better, or would it be better to go with a 120GB hard drive? Any thoughts would be nice, thanks!
 
Price/Performance is my consideration here. I could find a way to use up the Space in a bigger hard drive, i just keep my 40GB clean!
 
With a Raptor you would probably see improvement in load times for applications and games. The actual game play will not be effected, except for the loading of new levels.
 
Thanks for the help guys, i'll probably get a raptor then, as i tend to play MMORPG type games, and, well just a lot of games in general.
