Hard Drive Problems Maybe?

So Im using my computer last night and notice that I can't open up Nero burning rom. It freezes up, seems to be when it says something about Ide/scsi hard drives. Can't remember Im at school now. So anyway Im using it and then all of a sudden everything stops working. I can't open anything. I go to my computer and it takes like 3 mins to load. Then when I go to C: or D: it just freezes up and won't ever load. So I restart and try a few normal troubleshooting techniques, no good. So I decided to reformat my OS partition and reinstall Win 2k. No luck, still the same problem. I have no clue what could be wrong, could I have a bad hard drive?

Try running chkdsk on the drive to force an itegrety check on it

I don't know what happened but I ended up writing zeros a few times to the harddrive and now it works again. But now I have a new problem, I installed windows 2k, and don't have any win2k drivers. The one I specifically need is for my ethernet card. If I can get that one I can get on the internet and get the rest of them, but I dont know where/how to get it. Im posting from my schools computer. The ethernet card Im using is a Linksys, so anyone have any ideas?

Download the drivers from Linksys website.

Well, I finally got it all working. I dunno what the problem was, but hopefully it doesn't happen again.
