I think my external 200GB Firewire Western Digital drive failed again. I use it for music storage, and one day while listening with winamp, the music just quit. I tried to check out the drive, but the icon disapeared under my computer. I unplugged it, let it cool, and replugged it in. No hard drive icon. It doesnt make a large clicking sound repeatedly, but more like random scratching. Any ideas? Also, does anyone know if I can exchange that drive for the internal version or store credit? I'll try getting it replaced monday.
