Hard drive problem

I have a 60gig Maxtor hard drive (ata 100). Recently, it has failed to boot up a couple of times. In fact, one time I had to restart the computer 5 times until it worked. It hasn't done that since, but it makes me wonder how reliable my hard drive is right now. What do you think?
 
I think my speakers just shook the crap out of it and it needed to get back on track. All seems to be working okay now.
